Accra Hearts of Oak defender Ransford Mensah has vowed that his side will not suffer a repeat of last season's defeat when they face Vision FC tomorrow.
The Phobians travel to the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema for a Matchday 7 Ghana Premier League clash scheduled for a 3:00 PM kick-off on Saturday.
Mensah says morale in the Hearts camp is high following their recent victory which ended their winless run.
"The victory, we needed it because playing Dreams FC draw, you have to win this game," Mensah said in his pre-match interview. "So the morale in the camp is very high."
Hearts of Oak lost 1-0 to Vision FC in their last meeting, but the 26-year-old left-back insists history will not repeat itself.
"Yes, they defeated us the last time but it's not going to happen again," Mensah declared. "We are very ready for this game because we went there last time and they defeated us 1-0."
The defender also praised the Phobia faithful for their support during the team's difficult spell and urged them to fill the stadium in Tema.
"We are much grateful for what they have been doing for us in our home games and our away games. We appreciate them a lot because we thank them too for coming in their numbers," he said.
"They should come and support us this Saturday and we believe we are going to let them go home with a good smile on their faces."
Hearts of Oak will be looking to secure back-to-back wins and continue their push up the Ghana Premier League table.
