Former Vision FC head coach Predrag Jaredic has bid an emotional farewell to the players following his resignation earlier this week.
Jaredic met with the squad at training on Friday, October 23, 2026, to say goodbye, three days after stepping down on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
His resignation came in the wake of Vision FC's 1-0 home defeat to Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League last weekend.
Addressing the players for the last time, the Montenegrin tactician admitted he felt he had let the team down but said he could not compromise on his principles.
"I feel a bit bad because I feel also like I betrayed you in some way, but I couldn't go against my principles," Jaredic said.
Despite Vision FC's struggles for results, having managed seven games this season, Jaredic believes the team showed clear progress on the pitch.
"We played seven games. We didn't have good results, but on the pitch we played good. Even against stronger opponents we played better football. This club is a club of development and we need time to progress. We progressed a lot in the last two months," he explained.
"I worked every day hard to improve you all as a team and also individually. I will leave you with good energy. I believe you can play in a higher league than Ghana, I believe you can play in Europe. I love you all."
In response, Lord Kudzinya, speaking on behalf of the players, described it as an emotional week for the group.
"Today is an emotional day for all of us. It's been an emotional week since we heard about the resignation, but it's part of the job. We have to keep moving as a team," Kudzinya said.
"We would like to wish you all the best wherever you find yourself and thank you for this meeting."
Meanwhile, assistant coach Burton Asare Wilson will take charge of Vision FC when they travel to face Dreams FC on Sunday for their Matchday 8 of the Ghana Premier League campaign.
