Hearts of Oak coach Kapor confident of stability ahead of Port City clash

Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Nebojsa Kapor says his side can find "stability" as they look to end a three-match winless run against Port City FC.

The Phobians have picked up just two points from their last three games, losing 1-0 to Karela United before back-to-back goalless draws with Dreams FC and Bechem United.

Hearts now face a newly promoted Port City side who have enjoyed a strong start to the season. Despite a 1-0 defeat to Medeama SC in their last outing, Port City have impressed with wins over Bechem United (3-1), Gold Stars (2-0) and a 2-1 victory on the opening day.

Their squad has been bolstered by the additions of experienced campaigners Kwabena Adu Meider and Ghana Francis Gyetuah.

"Port City is a very good side," Kapor said at his pre-match press conference. "They signed also a lot of quality players. They also had the quality before season start and also they strengthen some lines."

The Hearts coach revealed his technical team has relied heavily on video analysis this week to assess Port City's new signings and devise a plan to neutralise their threat.

"We find some solutions how to determinate our actions, how to also block some their positive sides," Kapor said.

"But also, as we told many times, and we are also believing in our strength, we are believing we will not give them too much space to find way how to use their strength."

Kapor remains confident his side can control the game and return to winning ways.

"They are good and quality team, but I think in our sides and with our approach, I think we can achieve stability in the game and find solutions how to get better positions on the field and how to take good score for us."

Hearts of Oak host Port City FC on Saturday, 11 October at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, Legon.
