Hearts of Oak vs Vision FC: Coach Kapor Braces for a "Far Different Game" on Tema Astroturf Tomorrow

Accra Hearts of Oak SC will be on the road tomorrow afternoon when they face Vision FC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in a crucial Ghana Premier League Matchday 7 fixture.

The Phobians head into the game with renewed confidence after a gritty victory that ended their three-match winless run.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Head Coach Nebojsa Kapor admitted his side faces a stern test against a Vision FC side fighting to survive in the top flight.

The Serbian tactician dismissed suggestions that last season's 1-0 away defeat to Vision FC at the same venue would affect his team psychologically.

"Last season is last season," Kapor said. "They change lot of players, also Hearts change some players and different energies now because now is let's say like opening of the season."

Hearts of Oak are currently pushing near the top of the table and are desperate for consecutive wins to keep momentum.

Coach Kapor highlighted the venue as a major factor.

"They have a good squad, young squad, and I'm sure that must be far better preparation for us," he noted. "We are also playing on Astros and that can be a far different game for us... Especially now also they are going with different coach."

Kapor praised his players' resilience during their recent poor form and hailed the impact of players like Henry Batten who has slotted into an advanced midfield role.

"We approached with a very serious energy, very serious mindset and that was different," he added. "I'm sure mentality side gave us opportunity to face this game and turn us on winning path."

The game will be officiated by referee Theophilus Antwi Sekyi.
