Dreams FC midfielder Kofi Junior Kumah admits his side are struggling to find their rhythm following a summer of significant departures, but insists the current squad has the quality to fill the void.
Kumah was named Man of the Match following Dreams' battling 0-0 draw against Hearts of Oak SC on Saturday.
The result leaves Dreams searching for consistency after losing key personnel, including forward John Antwi, Suraj Seidu, and Ebenezer Adade.
Speaking after the stalemate, Kumah acknowledged the transitional phase the club is navigating.
"It's been a little bit difficult, but as time goes on I think we'll fix things, and there are players who are there to replace them," he said.
"We are playing very well, but just that we are not getting our rhythm."
The fixture also saw Kumah line up against his former teammate Antwi, who departed for Hearts of Oak earlier this year.
Kumah revealed that nullifying the threat of the experienced striker was a central focus of Dreams' tactical preparation.
"It's not that easy though, because he's a top player, so we don't need to give him space," Kumah explained.
"When you give him space, he'll hurt you. So we planned against him."
The draw means Dreams FC will need to regroup quickly as they look to build momentum and integrate their new faces into the starting XI.
