Vision FC secured their first-ever victory over Dreams FC with a dominant 3-1 win at the Tuba Astro Turf on Sunday.
The result extends Dreams FC's winless start to eight matches in the Ghana Premier League season, while Vision walk away with a landmark three points on the road.
Vision settled the contest inside a blistering opening half-hour, spearheaded by a brace from Sheriff Mohammed Iddrisu. Iddrisu opened the scoring in the 11th minute, and Setsofia Agetey doubled the advantage just six minutes later in the 17th minute.
Iddrisu then struck again in the 26th minute to make it 3-0, putting the visitors in complete control before halftime.
Dreams pulled one back in the 58th minute through an own goal from Vision's Ibrahim Larbi, but it proved to be little more than a consolation.
The victory lifts Vision FC to 13th on the Ghana Premier League table with nine points, while Dreams FC remain rooted to the bottom in 18th place with just three points. On Matchday 9, Vision welcome Port City FC, while Dreams travel to face Basake Holy Stars as their search for a first win of the campaign continues.
