Ivory Coast have named their squad for September's 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, with several regulars absent for the meeting with Ghana.

Head coach Herve Renard announced a 24-man list on Tuesday for the Fifa window covering September and October 2026.

The Elephants will host Ghana at the Stade de la Paix in Bouake on 24 September in their opening Group C qualifier, before facing Somalia at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan on 29 September. They will then play a friendly against Cameroon on 3 October at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Ebimpe.

Wilfried Singo, Amad Diallo, Martial Godo and Simon Adingra are among the notable absentees from the squad.

Renard has included goalkeepers Yahia Fofana, Alban Lafont and Mohamed Kone.

In defence, Guela Doue, Kassoum Ouattara, Evann Ndicka, Ousmane Diomande, Emmanuel Agbadou, Odilon Kossounou, Christ Tape and Ghislain Konan have been selected.

Ibrahim Sangare and Franck Kessie lead the midfield, alongside Christ Inao, Patrick Zabi, Amadou Kone and Eddy Doue.

Up front, Nicolas Pepe, Elye Wahi and Yann Diomande are included, along with Bazoumana Toure, Yoan Bonny, Yann Gboho and Ryan Fofana.

Ghana are expected to name their squad next week before beginning their campaign in Bouake.
