Accra Hearts of Oak travel to face Bibiani GoldStars at Duns Park on Sunday, 13th September at 3pm, looking to build on their impressive start to the Ghana Premier League season.
Hearts thrashed Berekum Chelsea 4-0 on the opening weekend, while GoldStars were beaten 1-0 by Bechem United and will be looking to respond on home soil.
Midfielder Osei Asibey says the emphatic opening result has lifted confidence within the squad ahead of Sunday's 3pm kick-off.
"The win was important to the team," Asibey said. "Starting a league and having your first victory boosts the team's confidence going into the next game. It helps you to know that you have prepared very well for the league, and the confidence level is very high right now."
Hearts head coach Nebojsa expects a challenging contest against an experienced GoldStars side despite their contrasting starts.
"Every away match in the Premier League is a very difficult match," he said. "This is a very good, very experienced team, and they started their first game with a defeat. Naturally, they are going to try to win a game at home."
GoldStars have established a strong home record at Duns Park in recent seasons and have added experienced players during the transfer window.
"When you talk about GoldStars in this league, they are one team that has been strong when it comes to their home ground. So going into this game, we know it's not going to be an easy game," Asibey added.
"We have prepared very well to go and face this game. We are going out there to give our 100%."
Hearts will look to secure back-to-back wins on Sunday, while GoldStars are seeking their first points of the campaign.
