Heart of Lions head coach Kasim Gokyildiz insists his side's 2-1 defeat to Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara will not leave a psychological mark - because in his eyes, Lions were the better team.
The result ended Lions' impressive 10-year unbeaten run against Kotoko, a streak that stretched back to 2015. Yet Kasim was in no mood to dwell on history.
Asked whether the defeat would affect his players mentally, he was emphatic.
"No, definitely not. Definitely not, because everyone could see that when you are honest, that we dominated the game. We dominated the game, we had good chances. And when you see which kind of chances Asante scored, that is experience. And my players have to come to that point that they also will be very cool in front of the goal."
Lions fell behind to Emmanuel Mamah's 27th-minute opener and Isaac Opoku Agyemang's second in the 63rd, but despite being down to 10 men, they controlled large spells and earned a late penalty converted by Francis Odoom in the 92nd minute.
It was an assessment even Kotoko boss Eric Tinkler could not argue with, admitting his side struggled to cope with Lions' 4-3-3 rotations.
