Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has submitted his squad for the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, the Ghana Football Association says.
Queiroz is yet to arrive in Ghana, with the final squad expected to be announced before he lands in the country.
GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum said the list submitted by the Portuguese coach is currently going through the required processes.
"Coach Carlos Queiroz has submitted his squad for the upcoming games, and it is currently going through the required processes," Twum told Akoma FM.
"It will first go before the Management Committee and then the Executive Council."
Ghana will face Ivory Coast away in Bouake on 24 September in their opening Group C qualifier before hosting The Gambia at the Accra Sports Stadium five days later.
Twum said invitations will be sent to players once the internal procedures are complete.
"Once all the necessary processes have been completed, invitations will be sent to the selected players," he said.
"Hopefully, the squad will be officially announced next week."
Queiroz was appointed Ghana head coach earlier this year and will take charge of his first competitive games during the September international window.
