Roberto De Zerbi has revealed that Richarlison and Kevin Danso have asked to leave Tottenham Hotspur.
Speaking after Spurs' 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United, a game that also saw Mohammed Kudus return after 237 days out, De Zerbi addressed the futures of several squad members.
"Richarlison he said too many times that he wanted to leave. Danso came to me two days ago and said he wanted to leave," De Zerbi said.
The Tottenham head coach also provided an update on Pape Matar Sarr, who missed the Newcastle defeat.
"Sarr the same but he also suffered a small injury but he is almost ready to train."
The comments come with the transfer window nearing its conclusion and Tottenham winless in their opening two Premier League fixtures.
Richarlison has been linked with a move away throughout the summer, while Danso only joined Spurs permanently earlier this year.
De Zerbi, who took charge this summer, did not confirm whether the club will allow the players to depart, but his admission underlines the uncertainty surrounding the squad as he looks to shape his team.
